SYNOPSIS:

Story 1: Edo

Three kids, Edo, Petra and Marta, love climbing up the schoolyard tree. But there is a problem: spiders. They are scared the little beasts because Marta has been bitten once.
One day, playing on the tree as usual, they find a hole into the trunk that draws their attention. Marta sticks her finger into the hole, but three little spiders jump out. One of them jumps into Edo’s ear. After he gets rid of it, Edo and his friends decide not to climb the tree anymore.
To kill time, Petra proposes a new game to see who can throw the ball the highest, but a strong wind makes the ball disappear into the branches.
Edo goes to get the ball. He reaches the top of the tree, when he sees the ball stuck to a cobweb and a nasty spider in front of him. Looking closely, he understands that the spider is as scared as him. He also realizes that the ball didn’t get lost thanks to the cobweb. He thanks the spider for keeping his ball safe.

Story 2: Spider
Spider, Little and Hairy live in the tree. Their favourite games are spinning cobwebs and finding new holes on the web. They know that it’s dangerous to go too close to the ground because of humans.
One day, Little finds a perfect hole for a new den. It is near the ground but they don’t mind. Suddenly, a big pink finger sticks inside. The three spiders run out of the hole but Spider jumps into a human ear. He frees himself but after that episode they promise to not go into that hole anymore.
To kill time, they decide to build a giant cobweb. Their joy doesn’t last long because a strong wind sticks a ball to their masterpiece. On top of that, a human climbs up among the branches. Looking closely, Spider understands that the human is as scared as him. He also realizes that the kid is there to free their ball from the cobweb. Spider thanks Edo for that.

It is recommended to visualize the book full screen.
